This page outlines my company pricing and policies.
Custom Polewear Set
Labour starts at $45 / hour
Materials start at $20 - $100 per piece
Typical price starting point:

Top & Bottom Set or 1 Bodysuit start at $300 + materials

Each extra piece starts at $150 + materials
-
Accessories start at $45 + materials
I define:
-
“Piece” as 1 Top or 1 Bottom or 1 pair of Leggings etc.

“Set” as a matching Top and Bottom.
Material costs are subject to change based on the market and supply availability. I will do my best to provide an accurate quote on materials during our design meeting.

Making Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the first design meeting. Work on your pieces doesn't begin until I receive this payment.
Any changes to the design requested by you after final design approval may result in extra charges.
I accept cash, cheques, e-transfers and credit card via Square as methods of payment.
For pieces or sets that need to be shipped, the shipping costs will be included in the final invoice. Payment will be due before the work is shipped.
Alterations
Polewear, sportswear or bathing suit alterations - Starts CAD $20 for each piece

Fashion Illustrations
Describe the garments you want drawn in a fashion illustration style and I’ll draw it for you digitally or by hand.

Policies
Reproductions / Copied work
I don’t do direct reproductions or copies of existing polewear. We can look at existing pieces for inspiration for your preferred style and fit, but I will not recreate other designers’ work.
Modifications and alterations
I can and have done alterations to existing polewear, such as fitting alterations, modesty panels, design details, adding tassels and sequins etc.
Updates on Progress
I will provide regular updates on the progress of all custom work, as defined by our agreement. Usually, I will send a weekly message or email with updates.
work slots
I work on a first-come, first-served basis. I have a limited number of work slots every season and don’t do rush orders. So if you want something for a special performance, plan early and reach out as soon as possible.
Meetings
To have your work completed in a timely fashion, please be sure to be available for at least one design meeting and all scheduled fittings. These meetings can be done in person or by video call. Repeated missed meetings will result in a delayed delivery date or forfeiture of your deposit and work slot.

All designs are protected by copyright and remain the property of Ashley Greenslade-McKay.
Sharing the love
I encourage you to share pictures of you wearing your costume. You can tag @galacticpolewear on Instagram. I may ask you to sign a model release form to give me permission to repost these pictures and use them in my portfolio, but you may decline to sign the model release.
Privacy
I respect the privacy of my clients, and I do not share your data with anyone. If you’re sharing photos with me to use on social media, I can refer to you by a name you choose instead of your real name.
